Event Production

In May 2024, I successfully planned and hosted my own wedding on private property with little infrastructure.

I managed state and county event permits and inspections,
property rental, staging, professional A/V production, tents, restrooms, live entertainment, catering, bar service, lighting and decorations, group costumes, an officiant, security, shuttle transportation, nearby group lodging, house music, and compliance with all relevant local laws and ordinances.

I planned and oversaw scheduling for all involved parties, culminating in a highly
successful and well-received 4-day event with over 100 attendees.

In 2023, I opened the new Silver Diner in National Harbor, MD.

In the months leading up to the opening, I scouted, interviewed, hired, and trained a team of 127 employees for front and back of house, worked with local TV and press, collaborated with food and beverage industry professionals at neighboring institutions, and acted as the face of the new store for a high volume of guests in a busy retail area.

The store saw over $6 million in sales its opening year.

I run the Curtain Call Open Mic at Foster's Grille in Vienna, VA, on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Since starting it in October 2024, the open mic has grown to a crowd made up of both regular attendees and a steady stream of new faces.

We've hosted performances by traditional Chinese musicians playing the guzheng and pipa, bluegrass quartets from Virginia, rappers from D.C, Italian opera singers, and much more. The mission of the open mic is to connect musicians with one another and provide the opportunity to perform for a welcoming, encouraging audience.
